You already know too much to walk in there alone.

I'm the person who knows your story before labor begins. So when decisions happen fast, you're never the last one in the room to understand what's going on.

Why do you need Dox the Doula?

Most women walk into labor having googled everything and watched every TikTok they could find and still feel completely unprepared. Not because they didn't try, but because information alone doesn't protect you when decisions are being made fast and nobody's asking your opinion.

That's the gap I fill. By the time you're in labor, we have had conversations in person, virtually, via text, and on the phone about what you want. I'll know what's most important to you and you'll know that I'm in your corner. I'm not a stranger you talk to a couple of times and then show up at your most vulnerable moment.

As a DONA certified doula and childbirth educator, I'm not just there on baby’s birth day. I'm there for everything leading up to it. Schedule a consultation and let's do this!!!

Who is Dox the Doula?

I was in high school when my sister had her baby. She didn't have support, so I stepped in. No training, no certification… just me, showing up and refusing to leave. I made sure she moved her body, watched every episode of Birth Day on TLC I could find, and asked every mother I knew what to expect. That experience lit something in me that never went out.

Years later, when I had my own baby, I had a doula. And sitting in that room on the other side, I could see exactly where the gaps were, and I knew I was ready to fill them.

I'm Lauren. DONA certified doula and childbirth educator, based in DFW. I didn't stumble into this work. I was being prepared for it before I even knew it had a name.
